This subwoofer is manufactured in Focal's factory in France and offers unparalleled articulation, impact, and depth. A 13-inch (33cm) speaker driver with a W-shaped cone and extremely high excursion and a BASH amplifier with 600W RMS and 1000W peak-to-peak power deliver more impactful and faithful sound reproduction than ever before.
It also features optimized bracing, a front vent inspired by Focal's Trio11 monitor, and internal and external vents to reduce noise and distortion. On the back, you'll find bass controls that allow you to perfectly configure settings for any system, including low pass, high pass, and variable phase, making the Sub12 a true professional tool to watch.

■Composite ‘W’ Sandwich Corn
The ‘W’ composite cone is manufactured in France by Focal and allows for a fully optimized frequency response curve. The cone's unique properties of lightness and stiffness control the speed of signal transmission within the material. By adjusting the thickness of the structural foam, the damping quality of the cone can be controlled very precisely. When listening, it produces complete sound transparency, very low distortion rate, and excellent phase response.

In addition to large laminar vents that eliminate noise and distortion, the Sub12 features a releasable automatic standby mode and variable user controls for lowpass, highpass, and phase for ultimate precision for perfect studio sound. Additionally, for added practicality, we included a large handle on the side of the cabinet, making it easy for two people to carry it.

■Flexibility
The Sub12's rear controls include switches for polarity, +4dBu or -10dBv sensitivity, automatic standby bypass, input, and thru LFE. The Sub12 also has stand switch inputs and outputs, allowing you to connect a single Sub12 bypass or connect multiple Sub12 subwoofers at the same time.
