Along with 4-channel control support, the FLX series features dual compatibility with rekordbox / Serato DJ Pro. Furthermore, while inheriting the popular DDJ-1000 model of the same series, the FLX-1000 features the further evolved ON JOG DISPLAY and the new TRACK SEPARATION function, which enables more creative and innovative performance than ever before.

■Innovative TRACK SEPARATION function
The TRACK SEPARATION function allows you to operate each of the VOCAL, DRUMS, and INST parts that make up the music by simply loading a song, just as you would normally do in DJ play. Since the buttons are color-coded for each part, you can always visually grasp what is being played, enabling innovative performance that could not be achieved with conventional DJ equipment. Using the music library that you normally use, you can create unlimited creative performances with only your imagination.

ACTIVE PART & PART ISO
Mute and volume control for each part allows for new mixes and mashups.
FX PART SELECT
Remix performances with effects on specific parts.
PART INSTANT DOUBLES
Enables performance such as separating a specific part into different decks for scratching.

Advanced ON JOG DISPLAY that allows customization of display information.
The ON JOG DISPLAY, which has evolved from the DDJ-1000 DJ controller, allows you to select from a total of four types of information to be displayed. You can check at your fingertips the information necessary for your performance, including the new MIX POINT LINK operation information, rekordbox vocal position analysis information, and PERFORMANCE PADS status. Furthermore, waveforms can be displayed in 3-band waveforms (only when using rekordbox), just like our flagship CDJ-3000 multi-player.

■DECK INFO MODE:
Displays deck information including the overall waveform. (When Serato DJ Pro is used, the virtual deck of Serato DJ Pro is displayed.)
WAVEFORM MODE:

ARTWORK DISPLAY:
Displays the artwork of the stored tracks.

■New MIX POINT LINK function for seamless and smooth connection of tracks
The new rekordbox MIX POINT LINK function allows you to seamlessly and smoothly connect the development of songs in the mix. For example, the chorus of the next song starts when the chorus of the current song ends, and the start of playback of the next song can be reserved by linking the points at which the songs in the mix switch.
This eliminates the need to press the PLAY button at the desired timing, freeing up time for creative operations such as mashups and effects.

■DMX terminal for easy and dynamic lighting
By linking with the LIGHTING function of rekordbox, you can automatically control the color and intonation of the lighting according to the development of the music. In addition, you can customize the color and mood of the lighting to your liking.

■Incorporation of the evolved 4-sensor MAGVEL FADER
The DDJ-1000 is the first DJ controller to feature a 4-sensor MAGVEL FADER, an improved version of the DDJ-1000's 2-sensor system that allows the volume to follow linearly even with delicate, fine crossfader operations, enabling musical expression exactly as desired.

■Compatibility with DJ software rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro
The unit is compatible with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, so you can start playing right away by simply connecting the unit to a PC/Mac with the latest version of the software installed. In order to use the DVS function with Serato DJ Pro, you need to purchase Serato DJ Expansions or Serato DJ Suite separately.

■MULTICOLOR JOG RING” for communicating part performances to the audience visually as well as aurally.
The MULTICOLOR JOG RING not only serves as an indicator for the TRACK SEPARATION function, but also allows you to customize the color of the JOG RING to your liking.
