The Avid S1 is a low-profile surface that makes it easy to deploy the unmatched speed, rich visual feedback, and software integration of Avid's high-end consoles in a space- or budget-constrained environment. Control app for iPad, Avid S1 provides intimate hands-on control of your favorite audio and video software. With ergonomic efficiency, easy touch workflow, and S6-style meters and processing views, you can quickly navigate large sessions, mix intuitively, and quickly produce great sounding mixes.

From motorized faders and knobs to fast-access touchscreen workflows and softkeys that can perform complex tasks in a single operation, the S1 offers speed and versatility for any music production or audio post-video project.

Tightly integrated with hardware and software, the EUCON-based S1, Avid's high-speed Ethernet control protocol, controls Avid and third-party software. It can even switch between multiple applications and workstations at the touch of a button for fluid, smooth editing and mixing.

Extensive Mixing Insight
The S1 features a high-resolution OLED display and integration with the free Pro Tools | Control iPad app, which provides rich visual feedback to enhance your workflow. From track names, parameter values, and automation to S6-style monitoring (up to 9.1), metering, and channel processing views, the versatile, budget-friendly surface provides comprehensive feedback of a high-end console.

Expand Surfaces to Meet Your Needs
If you need more faders to control larger mixes, you can connect multiple S1 units to create an expanded, fully integrated control surface. You can also connect and dock a Pro Tools | Dock to the S1 for instant access to dedicated transport controls, jog wheels, focus faders, and more.
