■Newly developed high performance driver unit
The driver is equipped with a newly developed high-performance unit and uses AKG's unique housing structure. By optimizing the airflow inside the housing, the reproduction ability of the driver unit is maximized. The low range, which is said to be difficult to reproduce with open-back headphones, is clear and expressive, and the mid- and high-range sound is clear and pure, with no distortion components typical of AKG.

Varimotion technology, which changes the thickness of the diaphragm between the center and outer edges, sharpens the outline of the sound and achieves clear mid-to-high frequencies without distortion. It maintains an exquisite balance between the bass and mid-high frequencies.

■Flat wire voice coil
The driver is equipped with a flat wire voice coil using ribbon-like wire. Because the wire can be wound with high density, the moving parts are compact and lightweight, and excellent transient characteristics are achieved. Combined with the powerful neodymium magnet, sensitivity is also improved, allowing it to respond quickly to even delicate audio signals.

■Large diameter ear pads
The large-diameter ear pads completely cover the entire ear, putting less pressure on the ear and keeping it comfortable even when monitoring for long periods of time. The surface is made of smooth velor material, giving it a moist and high-quality feel.
In addition, the ear pads can be removed and washed by hand, so you can always use them in a clean state. The interior of the ear pads is made of memory foam material that deforms to fit the shape of the temporal region of your head. ■Genuine leather headband
