The new MPK mini plus, designed based on this innovative technology, is a compact 3-octave MIDI keyboard that offers expressive performance and connectivity that integrates with any hardware, making it a next-generation performance tool for creative music production right out of the box. MPK mini plus has eight MPC-style velocity-compatible RGB backlit pads for dynamic beat playing and drum programming, as well as eight assignable rotary knobs for changing parameters, panning, automation, filtering, and controlling various effects. In addition to the traditional XY joystick controller, the MPK mini plus has pitch bend and modulation wheel controllers for unlimited expressive possibilities.

MPK mini plus, which can also be used for stand-alone music production, has a new polyphonic 64-step sequencer that allows ideas and sparks to take shape instantly. It is USB class compliant, requiring no special drivers, and can be plugged in and used immediately. There are 5-pin DIN-MIDI IN/OUT jacks for connection to external MIDI devices, CV/Gate and Clock jacks for connection to modular synths, and a terminal for a sustain pedal. Whether you are just starting in creative music production or connecting to studio equipment, the MPK mini plus will meet all your needs.

The included MPC Beats software incorporates the best aspects of the MPC workflow and includes thousands of sounds, drum samples, loops, and plug-in instruments. The MPK mini plus' 37-key keyboard with second-generation keybed allows MPC plug-in instruments such as Electric and Tubesynth to come alive with a broader range of sounds. In addition, the MPK mini plus can be connected to stand-alone MPC devices to control Mellotron and Hype plug-ins.
