The Mooer DRUMMER X2 is a compact pedal-sized drum machine pedal that contains 121 rhythm types in 11 genres, 11 patterns each, and can store seven rhythms in 11 song banks.
In addition, all drum patterns can be filled to add rhythmic variation.

Controls
EQ: EQ can be applied to the drum machine according to the connected devices, etc. At the noon position, EQ is off, the left side cuts the low end to match a full-range device, and the right side emphasizes the treble to check a guitar amp, etc.
SPEED: Adjusts the speed of the drum machine from 40-260 bpm, with 120 bpm at noon. The speed is a global setting by default, meaning that all speeds in slots 1-7 have the same tempo. The speed can also be set for each preset, in which case only the speed of the currently selected preset will be charged.
LEVEL: Adjust the volume of the drum machine.
GENRE: Select one of 11 different drum machine style genres.
∙ SAVE: Press the switch to select a preset slot. Press and hold to save the current setting to the current slot.
PATTERN: Select one of 11 different rhythm patterns within the set genre.
LEFT FOOT SWITCH: Toggles between playing and stopping the drum machine. Preset Select mode, entered by pressing the left and right footswitches, scrolls up the preset slots.
Right footswitch: When the drum machine is stopped, pressing the right footswitch multiple times adjusts the speed with the tap tempo. When the drum machine is playing, fill adds variations. In preset select mode, scroll down presets.
Preset Slot Indicator: shows the currently selected preset slot; LED color means preset bank. Press and hold the right footswitch to store the current settings in the slot; use the GENRE switch to switch between song banks.
Input/Output
INPUT L (MONO): 1/4" mono jack. They are used to connect an instrument. Use this jack for mono setup. In stereo, this jack is used for the L channel.
INPUT R (MONO): 1/4" mono jack. They are used to connect an instrument. In stereo, this jack is used for the R channel.
OUTPUT L (MONO): 1/4" mono jack. Connect the cable from the amplifier. Use this jack for a monaural setup.
OUTPUT R (MONO): 1/4" mono jack. Connect the cable from the amplifier. Connect the R channel in stereo.
Drummer X2's soundtrack is mono. The L and R channels output the same sound in a stereo setup. Dual input/output design allows connection to other stereo devices.
EXT CTRL: 1/8" stereo mini jack. Connect an external footswitch (sold separately).
USB-C Port: Connects to a computer for data transfer and firmware updates.
DC IN: Connects to a power adapter. Use an adapter with 9V DC (minus center) and 300mA or more. The supplied adapter is recommended.
Basic Functions
Play/Stop
The left footswitch (Play/Stop) toggles between the start and stop of the drum machine.
Add/Variations (Fill)
DRUMMER X2 contains 121 different rhythm grooves, each with individual variations (fills). Variations are not used during regular play. Pressing the right footswitch (TAP/FILL) while the drum machine is playing will cause the variation to be played. When the variation ends, the machine returns to the regular main rhythm.
Adjusting the speed
The speed of the drum machine can be adjusted in four ways.
1. Turn the SPEED knob to adjust the speed, which is 120 bpm at noon and can be adjusted in the 40-260 bpm range.
2. While the drum machine is stopped, tap the right footswitch (TAP/FILL) three times or more to adjust the speed using the tap tempo.
3. An external footswitch can be connected to use the tap tempo function. Tap the rightmost footswitch three or more times to adjust the speed.
4. Drum machine speed can also be set from the editor software. Enter bpm directly in the editor software.
Drum machine speed can be set globally and individually for each preset.
● Storage
DRUMMER X2 has 11 savings banks. Each bank can be viewed as a "song," with up to 7 save slots. Each slot can store a different rhythm type, allowing you to switch between rhythms as the song develops. The 1-7 LED indicates the current slot.
External footswitch
The DRUMMER X2 can be controlled by an external footswitch (sold separately) by connecting a footswitch to the EXT CTRL terminal with a TRS cable.
The DRUMMER X2 can be controlled in any mode by switching slots and controlling tempo with tap tempo.
Editor Software
Mooer Studio for DRUMMER X2 is dedicated editor software. It can manage audio files and presets and perform firmware updates.
Factory Reset
The unit can be factory reset by unplugging the DRUMMER X2 and connecting the power supply while holding the SAVE button. Please note that performing a factory reset will reset all stored data and cannot be restored.
