The Mooer DRUMMER X2 is a compact pedal-sized drum machine pedal. It contains 121 rhythm types across 11 genres and 11 patterns, and can store 7 types of rhythms in 11 song banks.

In addition, all drum patterns can have fills to add variation to the rhythm.

●Controls
・EQ: You can apply EQ to the drum machine to match the difference in the device you connect. At the 12 o'clock position, the EQ is turned off, the left side cuts the low end to match a full-range device, and the right side emphasizes the treble to match a guitar amp, etc.
・SPEED: Adjusts the speed of the drum machine. It can be adjusted from 40 to 260 bpm. At the 12 o'clock position, it is 120 bpm. The speed is set globally by default, and the speed of all slots 1-7 is the same tempo. You can also set the speed for each preset, in which case it will only set the speed of the currently selected preset.
・LEVEL: Adjusts the volume of the drum machine.
・GENRE: Select from 11 genres of drum machine style.

・SAVE: Press the switch to select a preset slot. Press and hold to save the current settings to the current slot.

・PATTERN: Select from 11 rhythm patterns within the set genre.

・Left foot switch: Switches between playing and stopping the drum machine. Press the left or right foot switch to enter Preset Select mode, which scrolls up the preset slots.

・Right foot switch: When the drum machine is stopped, press multiple times to adjust the speed with tap tempo. Add variation with fills when playing the drum machine. In Preset Select mode, scrolls down the presets.

・Slot indicator: Displays the currently selected preset slot. The LED color indicates the preset bank. Press and hold the right foot switch to save the current settings to the current slot. Use the GENRE switch to switch song banks.

●Input/Output

・INPUT L (MONO): 1/4 inch mono jack. Connect an instrument. Use this terminal for mono setup. In stereo, this is the L channel.

-INPUT R (MONO): 1/4 inch mono jack. Connect your instrument. Connect the R channel in stereo.

-OUTPUT L (MONO): 1/4 inch mono jack. Connect the cable from the amplifier. Use this terminal for mono setup.

-OUTPUT R (MONO): 1/4 inch mono jack. Connect the cable from the amplifier. Connect the R channel in stereo.

*The Drummer X2 soundtrack is mono. In stereo setup, the same sound is output from the L and R channels. The dual input/output design allows you to connect to other stereo devices.

-EXT CTRL: 1/8 inch stereo mini jack. Connect an external foot switch (sold separately).

-USB-C Port: Connect to a computer to transfer data and update firmware.

-DC IN: Connect the power adapter. Use a center negative DC9V, 300mA or higher adapter. The included adapter is recommended.

● Basic functions
・ Play/Stop
The left footswitch (Play/Stop) starts and stops the drum machine.
・ Adding variations (fills)
DRUMMER X2 contains 121 rhythm grooves, each with its own variation (fill). Variations are not used during normal play. Press the right footswitch (TAP/FILL) while the drum machine is playing to play a variation. When the variation ends, the normal main rhythm is restored.
・ Adjusting the speed
The drum machine speed can be adjusted in four ways.
1. Turn the SPEED knob to adjust the speed. At the 12 o'clock position, it is 120 bpm, and can be adjusted in the range of 40-260 bpm.
2. When the drum machine is stopped, tap the right footswitch (TAP/FILL) three or more times to adjust the speed with tap tempo.
3. You can connect an external footswitch and use the tap tempo function. Tap the right footswitch three or more times to adjust the speed.

4. The drum machine speed can also be set from the editor software. Enter the bpm directly in the editor software.

The drum machine speed can be set not only globally but also individually for each preset.

●Save
DRUMMER X2 has 11 save banks. Each bank can be seen as a “song” and each has up to seven save slots. Each slot can store a different rhythm type, allowing you to switch rhythms according to the development of the song. The current slot is indicated by the 1-7 LED.

●External footswitch
DRUMMER X2 can be controlled with an external footswitch (sold separately). Connect the footswitch to the EXT CTRL terminal with a TRS cable.

You can switch slots and control the tempo by tapping tempo in any mode.

●Editor software
Mooer Studio for DRUMMER X2 is a dedicated editor software. It allows you to manage audio files and presets, and update the firmware.

● Factory Reset
Unplug the power from DRUMMER X2, then plug in the power while holding down the SAVE button to perform a factory reset on the unit. Please note that performing a factory reset will reset all saved data and cannot be restored.
