The semi-hollow body 59DC series now includes a short-scale bass with excellent maneuverability and portability. It is lightweight and the short horn shape makes it easy to play on the higher frets. The short scale gives it a balance closer to a guitar. The deep bass tone unique to the Masonite hollow body and the sweet sound of the lipstick pickup are also distinctive.
