GOTOH初のカポ

ギターペグ最高峰のGOTOHのカポ、早速購入してみました。受注生産という事で1ヶ月ほど待たされて、手に取ってみると見た目は重そうでしたが、それほどでもありませんでした。このカポの材質はほぼプラスティック。丁度貝が口を開いた状態で、幅1cmの金属ガイドを押し込むと貝が口を閉じる様に固定されます。私の使用しているギターはネック厚みが薄いため、ねじ式でしっかり安定します。対して、このカポはねじ式と同じくらいしっかり弦を押さえてくれています。
ただし、欠点もあり、見ての通り、フレット上の厚みが最大で2.5cmあるため、ちょっと邪魔です。
カポを集める趣味の方（私？）や、ネックの厚みの薄い方には便利かもしれません。
値段と、ブランドを考えると、期待が大きかった分ちょっと残念でした。
