Since 1961, the Casino has been a rock and roll standard as Epiphone's legendary best-selling archtop.

When it was introduced in 1961, it was just one model in a new series of Thinline archtops designed and built in a new factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, shared with old rival and then-new partnership Gibson.

Then, things changed when Keith Richards used a Casino to record the demo of ""Satisfaction"" for Chess Records in Chicago during the Rolling Stones' 1965 US tour.

Howlin' Wolf used one on his first UK tour for his TV show ""Thank Your Lucky Stars.""

Shortly after, John Lennon and George Harrison of The Beatles bought one for their 1966 world tour, and the rest is history.
