Astrotec / AM850MK2

The Astrotec AM850MK2 is a high-quality in-ear earphone equipped with a newly developed 10mm high-resolution dynamic driver.

■Newly developed 10mm DD provides high-quality high-resolution sound
・A new 10mm dynamic driver unit has been developed for the AM850MK2. This dynamic driver uses a second-generation LCP (liquid crystal polymer) diaphragm made in Japan. Astrotec's long-established driver tuning technology effectively suppresses vibrations in each area, from high to low frequencies, achieving accurate sound expression.

■Redesign of the unit design and resonance effect inside the housing
・A pattern is designed to optimize air flow using etching technology on the inside of the housing. This effectively suppresses sound resonance, allows optimal movement without stress on the diaphragm coil, and achieves cleaner sound performance. In addition, the heat resistance of the driver has been improved, allowing stable operation even under high load.

■Sound adjustment is possible with three types of interchangeable tuning nozzles
・Three different shaped nozzles are included, each with its own unique sound performance, and you can adjust the sound to your liking.

Neutral (black) Balanced neutral sound
Air (gold) Improved treble performance.
Tide (Gray) Improved bass response.

■High-quality OFC silver-plated cable
・Uses high-purity OFC silver-plated cable with MMCX connector and 3.5mm single-ended. It is a four-braided cable that effectively reduces signal loss during transmission.

■High-precision housing by CNC processing
・Based on many years of experience and accumulated information, we used a high-precision 5-axis CNC machine to create the housing of the AM850Mk2. Despite its large size, it achieves an excellent fit. The material is lightweight and strong aviation-grade aluminum, and it is designed to be less tiring even with long-term use.
