The Astrotec AM850MK2 is a high-quality canal-type earphone with a newly developed 10mm diameter high-resolution dynamic driver.

Newly developed 10mm DD provides high-quality, high-resolution sound
The 10mm dynamic driver unit for the AM850MK2 has been newly developed. This dynamic driver uses a second-generation LCP (liquid crystal polymer) diaphragm made in Japan. Astrotec's long-accumulated driver tuning technology effectively suppresses vibrations in each region from high to low frequencies to achieve accurate sound expression.

■Redesign of unit design and resonance effects inside the enclosure
The inside of the enclosure is designed using etching technology to optimize the airflow pattern. This reduces the resonance effect of the sound, enabling optimal movement without stressing the diaphragm coils, resulting in a cleaner sound performance. In addition, the heat resistance of the driver has been improved, enabling stable operation even under high loads.

Sound adjustment is possible with three types of interchangeable tuning nozzles.
Three different shapes of nozzles are included, each with its unique sound performance, allowing the user to adjust the sound to their preference.

Neutral (Black) Balanced neutral sound
Air (Gold) Improved treble performance.
Tide (Gray) Improved bass response.

High-quality OFC silver-plated cable
High purity OFC silver-plated cable with MMCX connector and 3.5mm single-ended. This 4-weave cable effectively reduces signal loss during transmission.

■High-precision housing with CNC machining
The AM850Mk2 enclosure was created using a high-precision 5-axis CNC machine based on years of accumulated experience and information. Despite the large size of the enclosure, it provides an excellent fit. The material used is lightweight, high-strength aviation-grade aluminum designed to minimize fatigue even after long hours of use.
