11111良い音！

USB3.0仕様なので、USB2.0までしか対応していない古いマシンへの導入は録音時のクロックのスピードに問題が生じるため、途中で止まってしまうか、デジタルノイズが乗ってしまうかしてしまいます。よほどバッファを大きくして走らせればUSB2.0の機器と一緒に使うことは可能です。その場合にはやはりレイテンシー覚悟で。
プラグインの対応する動作環境の問題で、Mac OS 10.11の古いタワーの銀マックを使っています。ファイヤーワイヤ８００とHDSPeのインターフェース、Neve1073DPD, FIREFACE UCと合わせて88Mを使ってドラムのパラレコをしていますが、4台のインターフェースを同時に走らせ、その中の88MだけUSB3.0なので狂ってきます。
試しにUSB3.0対応のノートPCに88Mを挿して録音してみましたが
USB2.0と3.0の音の解像度がこんなに違うとは思いませんでした。
USB2.0では聞こえなかったコンプ感やシンバルの高くて繊細な音など、
全てにおいて上回っています。
８８Mが2.0にも対応していたらもっと良かったと思います。
古い機器に加えての購入をお考えなら、2.0環境でも使用可能です。

11111他店購入ですがいい製品なのにレビューが少ないので……

結論から言うとDSPや内部ミキサーといった追加機能を一切廃して、入出力数も絞って音の良さを極限まで追求したインターフェースです。
Marinairトランス（正確には違うけどこの辺はNeveの歴史になるので割愛）積んで、88RSと同じ回路のマイクプリを積んでるため、入力でこれに勝てるインターフェースはほぼないのではと思うほどです。
出力もヘッドホンモニターがメインなのでそちらが中心になりますがヘッドホンアンプが空間の広がりをしっかり感じることができ、一音一音認識しやすくリスニングにもDTMにも使いやすいかと思います。
一方で問題点もいくつかあり、入出力のレベルが分かりづらい（入力レベルの表示はLEDランプのみで出力レベルは表示されない）のと、起動し直すたびにサンプリングレートがリセットされて変更に少し手間がかかる点が少し使いづらいと感じました。
しかし、それらの問題点が些細なものに思えるほど入出力音が感動的なものなのでおすすめできる逸品です。

11111最高の音で録り、最高の音で聴く

タイトルの通りです。
88Mのレビューがないのが寂しいので、他店での購入でしたがレビューします。
まずこの機種、NEVEのマイクプリにインターフェース機能を持たせたというほうが正しいと思います。
そのため、インターフェースとしての機能は必要最低限です。
できることは「とんでもなくいい音で録る」「とんでもなくいい音で聴く」たったこれくらいしかできません（笑）
単体73系マイクプリも、入出力を除けば結局プリアンプとトランスの品質でおおまかなグレードが決まっていますが、
そのプリにNEVE 88RSコンソールのプリ、トランスにはマリンエア。これだけで20万以上してもおかしくないレベルです。
DSPやプラグインがない分、センドリターンがあるので、これも実機にこだわる姿勢なのかも知れませんね。
Ex-Proのシールドに例えると、RMEがFLだとしたら88MはFAな感じですね。わかりずらい（笑）
