11111個人的には最高のDAWソフト

作曲初心者向レビュー）
ABILITY歴８年。定番のCubaseを一度は購入し使ってみたが、「歌もの」は、私の制作スタイルではABILITYに限ると判断。以来「歌もの」を、「曲と歌詞」同時にスコア画面で見やすく表示するABILITY一択で「良し」とした。
　下にも書きますが、ABILITYで特筆すべきは、他の海外勢Dowにはない唯一無二な「スコア入力」ユーザーインターフェイスの存在です。五線譜上で曲作りができる機能何かと便利です。個人的にはABILITYに「スコア入力」があるというだけで、他のDowは選択肢無くなるほどです。著名なシンガーソングライター、編作曲家にもそうした方はそれなりにいるようです。
Cubaseが特化しているピアノ入力だがABILITYでも特に問題ない。どのDAWを選んでも慣れの問題。どうしても多くの人が使うCubaseなどの海外勢を選びたくはなるが、私も一度は浮気しましたが、結局はABILITYに戻りました。
　上にも書きましたが、シンガーソングライター的に「歌詞、メロディ」同時進行の方は、他のDAWには無いABILITY唯一無二の「スコア入力」は一つ一つの音符に「歌詞」を付けられるため「歌もの」曲にはお勧めです。私はシンガーソングライター的に自らボーカルしていますが、音符一つ一つに文字サイズ自在で歌詞が付けられるため歌詞カードは不要で、ABILITYのスコア画面がそのままカラオケボックスの字幕入り大画面に変身、オリジナル曲カラオケ練習できます。また他のDAWにはない「数値入力」、他にも作曲する上で必要にして十二分な機能が満載。
　私はプロではありませんが「社会的弱者の叫びを曲にしよう」と思い立ち曲作りを初めて７～８年です。「たまたま」でしたが、結果論としてABILITYを選んで正解でした。
　各々DAW操作の慣れは必要ですが、結局どのDAWを選んでも同質な曲の構築は可能なようです。個人的には唯一国産であるABILITYを応援します。
