This is the signature model of Polyphia guitarist Tim Henson. Tim requested a pickup that would produce a clear, musical sound like a 21-fret single-coil guitar, even on a 24-fret guitar. The high frequencies are slightly rolled off to match the pickup's position, and the demagnetized Alnico 5 magnet allows for dynamic response.
