This pickup was developed to add the clarity of the D Activator to the X2N model, which has been known as the pickup with the highest output for nearly 30 years since its debut. It looks very similar to the X2N, but the sound is open and wide-range. It also responds well to dynamics, so you can get a clean sound by adjusting the volume even when connected to a high-gain amplifier.
