CATALINBREAD / Belle Epoch Deluxe Black and Silver

A delay pedal that reproduces the tape echo sound of the Maestro Echoplex EP-3. This model comes in a black and silver color scheme reminiscent of the original EP-3.

・ECHO PROGRAM: Select from 6 types of delay.
・DEPTH: Sets the depth of modulation. The type of modulation applied varies depending on the ECHO PROGRAM.
・RECORDLEVEL: Adjusts the strength of the hit on the tape when the original sound is recorded. It only affects the effect sound and does not change the dry sound.
・ECHO VOLUME: At maximum, the echo sound is at its maximum, and at minimum, the echo sound is inaudible.
・ECHO SUSTAIN: Adjusts the feedback of the delay signal. You can control it by adjusting the number of repeats from the minimum setting to the center. From the center, the repeats continue infinitely, and if you set it higher, it can oscillate.
・ECHO DELAY: Controls the delay time. Can be set in the range of about 80ms to 800ms. Designed to be operated while playing a sound to create a sound similar to the EP-3.
・EXP: Switches the control assigned to the expression pedal. The right position (D) controls the delay time, and the left position (V) controls the delay playback volume, rotary speed, and filter sweep. What is controlled varies depending on the ECHO PROGRAM.

・ECHO OSC: When set to ON, the delay feedback increases, allowing it to oscillate temporarily. When set to OFF, it returns to normal. The operation at this time can be adjusted with the internal trim pot.

・Controls the wow/flutter effect of tape
・Reproduces the classic EP-3 sound at around 12 o'clock
○Expression pedal (V mode)
・Controls the volume of the delay effect from 0 to maximum.

ECHO PROGRAM 2
○Features
・Dark analog sound like the classic BBD delay
・Warmer and darker repeats
○DEPTH knob
・Controls medium level chorus sound
・No chorus at minimum, reproduces the chorus sound of the classic BBD delay at maximum
○Expression pedal (V mode)
・Controls the volume of the delay effect from 0 to maximum.

ECHO PROGRAM 3
○Features
・Rotary-like tone like a Leslie
・Control the speed with the expression pedal
○DEPTH knob
・Controls the depth of the rotary effect
・Try setting it around 12 o'clock as the start.
○Expression pedal (V mode)
・Controls the speed of the rotary effect.
・Stepping all the way in will make it a fast rotor, and returning it to the front will make it a slow rotor.

ECHO PROGRAM 4

-Resonant filter with manual sweep
-Also has a wah pedal-like effect
-Expression pedal for further control
○DEPTH knob
-Controls the tape wow/flutter effect
-Reproduces the classic EP-3 sound at around 12 o'clock
○Expression pedal (V mode)
-Controls the filter sweep.
-Sets the delay to create a tone like a wah pedal or a synth filter.
-If the oscillation is too strong, try lowering ECHO SUSTAIN a little.

ECHO PROGRAM 5

-Reproduces the chorus of the classic ""DMM"" pedal

ECHO PROGRAM 6

-Reproduces the vibrato of the classic ""DMM"" pedal

■Expression pedal
The expression pedal is connected using a TRS (stereo) cable.
The tip is 3.3V, the ring is the wiper, and the sleeve is the ground.
For comfortable use, we recommend using a linear taper pot. B10K or B25K pots are common.
Please be careful not to connect a TS (mono) plug to the expression pedal terminal.
