Victory Amps / V40 Duchess Deluxe Combo

This combo amp has the same sound and features as the V40D Deluxe Head. It has a wide open-back body that produces an airy sound. It uses a Celestion Creamback with ample output to produce a clean sound.

■Single channel and voice switch From single coil vintage style Californian tone to mid 60's British drive, it's all in one channel. Voice II enhances the mid range at the input, creating punch and sharpness. Compared to the V40TheDuchess, the V40Deluxe has a slightly more brightness and airiness overall. ■Mid kick This works in conjunction with the middle pot to boost mid range frequencies in the EQ section. The more you turn up the middle pot, the more emphasized the overdrive sound, especially when using humbuckers. At maximum gain, there is more overdrive and compression than the 40TheDuchess. ■Valve-driven spring reverb The V40Deluxe is equipped with a valve-driven reverb, which delivers a real vintage style "reverb". The reverb can be adjusted by adjusting the tone pot, from a smooth and dark atmosphere to a brighter, more "bouncy" sound. Foot switch compatible. ■Valve-driven tremolo Tremolo can be utilized in any genre, including blues, rock and roll, country, rock, Americana, and pop. ■Low power mode There is a switch on the rear panel that provides a low power mode of approximately 7W. ■Series effects loop A hard-bypassable effects loop allows you to use delay, reverb, etc. after the amp's preamp section to maintain a clean sound.
