Sym・Proceed / SP-IEM7 is an anniversary model created through a collaboration between Media Integration, Inc., which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and FitEar, a Suyama hearing aid brand that is pioneering a new era of IEMs.
■Four balanced armature drivers are arranged in a 2-way, 2-unit, 4-driver configuration. The four drivers are arranged as two units, with one unit handling as wide a frequency range as possible, and the other unit filling in any gaps, reproducing music without dividing it into bands and providing a smooth, natural sound. ■Acoustic tuning using acoustic filters installed in the sound ports (sound passages) extending from each unit. By making fine adjustments to the sound coming out of each unit, the ideal reference sound is achieved. ■Generally, the shape of a human ear is a vertical oval. With the oval horn stem, the cross-section of the stem is made into a vertical oval, which deforms the ear tip vertically, sealing the ear hole firmly and achieving excellent sound insulation. ■A 3D printer is used to manufacture the shells, realizing a complex design that takes the shape of the ear into consideration. The shell itself is made of a material that does not deteriorate over time, a "photopolymerization resin" that hardens when exposed to ultraviolet light. A dedicated hard case is included for storage when not in use. ■Custom models are also available as an option, providing up to 30dB of silence on a different level. They can eliminate the effects of room acoustics, and provide comfortable sound insulation in addition to the precision of the sound image. They sound closer to the eardrum than conventional in-ear headphones, so the positioning is deeper and they can withstand long periods of listening. ■PERICAN1010 Micro Case included ■4 types of ear tips included ■Main unit cleaning brush included ■Cable (total length: approx. 1,250mm straight, uses 102SSC parallel shielded cable, 3.5mm stereo mini plug specifications)
