Can be set from 1:1 (no compression) to infinity:1. At the 9 o'clock position it is 2:1, which is mild compression, at the 12 o'clock position it is 4:1, which is typical hard compression, at the 3 o'clock position it is 10:1, which is even stronger compression, and at the maximum position it is infinity:1, which acts as a limiter. ・SENSE THRESHOLD: Sets the signal level at which compression begins to occur. Compression is applied to the part that exceeds this value. The SENSE switch has two levels, Lo is -40dBu, which is suitable for inputs with weak signals. At Hi, the internal trim pot can be set from -40 to +10dBu, allowing it to be adjusted to suit instruments with higher output.・GAIN (Makeup Gain): Compression reduces signals that exceed the THRESHOLD, reducing the volume. You need to increase the Gain to recover the reduced volume. The more compression there is (increasing the Ratio), the more the volume will not increase. Lowering the SENSE THRESHOLD to Lo and increasing the GAIN will increase the overall volume, but doing it too much will result in a noisy sound. ・DRY/WET MIX: This control works like an audio mixer. You can mix the signal input to the compressor and the signal that has passed through the compressor to adjust the balance. The ratio is 1:1 in the center.
