-RATIO: Adjusts how much the signal is compressed when compression is applied to the signal that exceeds THRESHOLD. Can be set from 1: 1 (without compression) to infinity: 1. 2: 1 at 9 o'clock, mild compression, 4: 1 at 12 o'clock, general hard compression, 10: 1 at 3 o'clock, more powerful compression, infinity at maximum: 1. , Works as a limiter.

-SENSE THRESHOLD: Set the signal level at which compression starts to be applied. Compression is applied where this value is exceeded. Two types of levels are set for the SENSE switch, which is -40dBu for Lo, which is suitable for inputs with weak signals. The Hi has an internal trim pot that can be set from -40 to + 10dBu and can be adjusted for higher output instruments.

-GAIN (Makeup Gain): Compression reduces the volume because it compresses the signal that exceeds THRESHOLD. Gain needs to be raised to recover the lowered volume. When the compression is high (Ratio is increased), the volume will not be increased unless the GAIN is increased higher.
If you lower SENSE THRESHOLD to Lo and raise GAIN, the overall volume will increase, but if you overdo it, it will be covered with noise.

DRY / WET MIX: This control works like an audio mixer. You can adjust the balance by mixing the signal input to the compressor with the signal passed through the compressor. It will be 1: 1 in the center. When set to 100% Dry, it works as a buffer.
