We are constantly learning, listening, improving our skills with circuits, and even incorporating manufacturing processes that were not possible in the past to produce more refined products, constantly evolving. And even though we have suffered misfortunes such as parts being discontinued at times, we have continued to adapt to the times and evolve. The development of this pedal began when the parts used in the previous DLS became unavailable. While continuing to develop numerous prototype pedals, we have finally succeeded in creating our flagship product, a DLS that is easier to use and has more dynamics than the previous Dirty Little Secret. There are some differences from previous DLS. This new DLS has a DIP switch inside, which allows you to change the voicing and offers a super lead mode and a super bass mode. The knobs have a master volume, preamp gain, and three tone controls, and also have a presence trimmer inside. This has further expanded the gain range, allowing it to provide optimal dynamics for any pickup or amplifier. The Super Lead mode has a wonderfully quick and sensitive tone that was also possible with the previous MKII, but by having a midrange control, it has succeeded in creating even more diverse tones. The amount of gain can be expressed from the current to the Plexi era. By controlling the volume knob, you can create anything from clean tones to heavy distortion, even with humbuckers. The Super Bass mode also has a new voicing that will give you a tone that is like a 45 or 50/100. In this mode, you can get that really comfortable tone that is neither too clean nor too dirty, which was created by very old vacuum tube amplifiers. This mode also works great with fuzz pedals. By using the Strat, Fuzz Face, and even this Super Bass mode, you will understand the true meaning of this mode. This SB/SL switch is not just a simple addition or subtraction of bass. It independently sets parameters such as tone and attack to create a perfect SB and SL. This is immediately apparent when you compare it. When switching from SL to SB, the SB tone circuitry reduces the bass response a little and has a slightly scooped tone configuration. We are really excited to release this pedal because it beats the traditional DLS in every way, with more features and better tone, at the same price. We guarantee it's the best Marshall box at any price point. All that said, what we're trying to say is we're excited. It runs on a DC9V center negative adapter (we recommend the One Control EPA-2000) or a 9V battery.
