MJC Ironworks Strings' 20-125 set of 7-string stainless steel bass strings, MJC-ML20125SS7, combines the pure sound of the strings with rust prevention. These stainless steel strings have a core wire of 6-ply Swedish tin-plated mandolin strings wrapped with the highest quality 4330 stainless steel wrap wire. These bass strings are treated with RN PROTECTS, which forms a molecular-level rust-resistant thin film, and provide a powerful grand piano tone with high durability.

-Uses RN PROTECTS, which forms a very thin anti-rust film at the molecular level using a technology (CVI) that vaporizes at room temperature and adheres to the metal surface of the string to form a thin film
-By forming a film that is thin enough that it does not affect the characteristics of the metal string, it provides the same pure sound as strings without coating
-Anti-rust film is formed not only on the wrap wire but also on the core wire, protecting the entire string from rust caused by moisture
