The PROTECH FS-40X packs full functionality into an ultra-compact body. It's a field mixer that seems capable of anything.

■ 4 Channels in a 3-Channel Body

Four channels packed into the body size of a 3-channel mixer. This brings us one step closer to the ideal of compactness, lightness, and high functionality.

■ Independent Channel EQ and Low-Cut Filter

Equipped with independent equalizers for each channel, enabling recording that closely resembles human hearing. A low-cut filter is also included to address low-frequency noise such as wind noise in street recordings, allowing for clearer sound capture.

■ Supports Stereo Recording with MS Microphones

Equipped with an MS decoder, it supports stereo recording with MS microphones. It supports both XLR 5-pin input and input using two XLR 3-pin channels.

■ Double Limiter on Input/Output

Each input channel features an independent hyper-limiter, instantly suppressing over-levels. Furthermore, a new 3-stage variable master limiter is included on the master output side. Switching between the three limit levels prevents distortion in any recording environment, providing powerful support for professional audio recording.
