The EM-53HB/SET is a complete kit that combines the technologies of PEARL and KORG into the e/MERGE series, a completely new electronic drum set. The WAVE trigger technology reproduces the difference in tone caused by different sticks. The PUREtouch pad system provides a striking feel close to that of an acoustic drum.

The technology born from WAVEDRUM has been refined as WAVE trigger technology, allowing for fast and dynamic playing. It even expresses the changes in tone caused by differences in sticks, so no two drummers will produce the same sound.

■MDL-1 SOUND MODULE
The simple and intuitive MDL-1 sound module is equipped with two multi-core processors that enable high-speed calculations in a compact body. It comes with a wide variety of high-quality, truly ""usable"" tones without unnecessary compression or looping.

■PUREtouch ELECTRONIC PAD SYSTEM
The feel of the PUREtouch pad system, reminiscent of acoustic drums and cymbals, is derived from the multi-layer structure, allowing drummers to concentrate on playing without stress.
