The SONY/ IER-Z1R is Sony's top-of-the-line earphones, equipped with a new HD hybrid driver system that combines the advantages of three different drivers to reproduce the ambience of music.

■High-precision 12mm dynamic driver
- Thin-film magnesium alloy is used for the dome part, which requires light weight and high rigidity. It balances deep bass and clear, precise mid- and high-pitched sounds. Even delicate sounds are reproduced accurately without any loss.

■BA driver unit with magnesium diaphragm that reproduces high-pitched sounds
- The diaphragm uses magnesium alloy, which boasts high specific rigidity and high internal loss. The voice coil uses silver-coated copper wire with high transmission efficiency, and the terminals are gold-plated to improve driving force. The diaphragm moves faithfully in response to the input signal, accurately capturing delicate sounds and reproducing them without any loss.
