*The battery is also used as a power source for retaining settings, and retains calibration and display mode settings. When the battery is removed from the unit or the battery reaches the end of its life, the calibration is reset to 440Hz and the display mode setting is reset to regular.
When the battery is nearing the end of its life, the TUNER ON/OFF LED flashes. Replace with a new battery as soon as possible.
*The calibration setting is retained even when the power is off. However, if the battery is removed or the AC adapter is unplugged, it will return to the factory setting (440Hz). Also, even if the battery is connected, if you plug in an AC adapter that is not supplying power, the settings will return to the factory settings.
