BOSS / DD-3T

The DD-3T Digital Delay adds a tap tempo function to the BOSS/DD-3, the landmark digital delay that debuted in 1986. While retaining the same simple, intuitive design, it now allows tap tempo input via an external switch or the footswitch on the unit. This gives you more flexibility in controlling the timeless, classic delay sound that continues to fascinate professionals and amateurs alike.

The HOLD effect is also retained as a SHORT LOOP mode. It has also been redesigned for ease of use, such as placing the direct out on the output terminal side.

The DD-3, designed based on the world's first digital delay pedal, the DD-2, which was released in 1983, has long been highly praised for its warm tone and simple operability, and continues to be supported by many players. The sound and controls of the DD-3T are completely inherited from the DD-3, beloved by guitarists around the world.

-Press and hold the pedal on the main unit for 2 seconds to turn on tap tempo, allowing you to input a tempo according to the interval at which you press the pedal. -The original DD-3 (and DD-2) had a HOLD function that could loop up to 800 ms of phrases and play along with them. BOSS developed this original concept and later commercialized it as the LOOP STATION. Since its debut, the LOOP STATION has spread all over the world in an instant, and loop performance has become a new style of performance that has spread all over the world. The DD-3T has the same HOLD function as the DD-3, but the name has been changed to ""SHORT LOOP"" to reflect its use as a looper, which has become common today.

When a cable is inserted into the direct out terminal, only the effect sound is output from the output, and the effect sound and direct sound signals can be output to different amplifiers to achieve a sound with breadth and depth. When using with an amplifier or switcher that has a parallel effect loop, you can mute the direct sound and blend only the effect sound by connecting a dummy plug to the direct out terminal.
