CROWN(AMCRON)/XLS1502 is a high-quality, ultra-lightweight power amplifier equipped with the latest DSP. The crossover with three types of filters can be set on the large LCD display with excellent visibility. Class-D operation allows you to drive both main speakers and subwoofers efficiently.

＜XLS DriveCore 2 Series＞
This is the next-generation model that inherits the functions of the well-established XLS series. Improvements have been made, including the appearance, and the DSP's processing power and operability have been improved. All models are lightweight, weighing less than 5 kg, reducing the burden of transportation and installation.

■DriveCore achieves weight reduction without compromising sound quality
Equipped with a custom IC, ""DriveCore"", which integrates functions such as high-precision clock, modulation, error amplification, and feedback, which are the heart of the amplification circuit, into a single chip. Parts have been reduced to the minimum without compromising power or sound quality.
The power supply unit uses a lightweight, highly efficient switching power supply.
All models are light, weighing less than 5 kg, and have excellent portability.
■Output power beyond its class
Class-D operation efficiently drives even high-load subwoofers.
Equipped with a Peakx limiter, it maximizes output performance while protecting the speakers.
■Filter setting possible with powerful DSP
Adopts a PureBand crossover system that uses a 24dB/oct Linkwitz-Riley filter. You can set any crossover point every 1/12 oct in the range of 30Hz to 3kHz.

You can choose from no filter, low pass, high pass, and band pass filter types.

■Flexible input/output

The input terminals are equipped with three types: XLR, standard phone, and RCA. The input sensitivity can be selected from 1.4V and 0.775V.

The output terminals are equipped with Speakon and binding posts.

■Balanced installation of necessary functions

The front panel is equipped with a backlit LCD display. The indicator LEDs can be turned on/off by setting. A lock function that prohibits operation of the front panel is also available.

A status signal is output from the rear panel to check normal operation from a remote location.

The external contact can be set to sleep mode to reduce power consumption.

The unit is equipped with an air-cooled fan to efficiently cool the inside of the unit.

The size is larger than the previous model. The menu structure has also been revised to significantly improve operability.

The left pin can be used for sleep mode to reduce power consumption with an external contact.
The right pin outputs a status signal to remotely verify proper operation.
