The FP9 series is the flagship model of YAMAHA foot pedals. The newly designed frame is equipped with high-precision parts, and thoroughly pursues stability for playing. Equipped with many functions that allow you to adjust the feel of the pedal to suit your playing style, it fits drummers of all styles.

■FP9
The ""Double chain drive"" features a natural and smooth pedal action. The cam part at the bottom of the double chain can be adjusted in three stages, and by selecting your preferred cam position, you can achieve the pedal action that is best suited to your playing style. In addition, by changing to the included belt drive, you can further choose your preferred footwork.

■Functions
●Quick adjusting cam/link
The double chain drive applies uniform tension every time you step on the pedal. By changing the cam from C1 to C3, you can set it to make the action at the beginning of the pedal lighter.

●Newly designed high-precision split frame structure
The blue part, which has been machined with high precision, is used as the ball bearing insertion part. By combining the blue part with a frame that has been machined with a flat surface, the blue part with the built-in ball bearing is precisely arranged in a single row. By precisely arranging them in a single row, the ball bearings are prevented from wobbling, and the rocker shaft operates smoothly. The ball bearings and rocker shafts are rotated more smoothly by thoroughly pursuing the precision of the details. It responds accurately to various foot pedal work, and strongly supports the drummer's performance.

●Auto-lock spring tension adjustment
The design of the spring tension adjustment part has been changed. The upward specification allows the drummer to easily adjust the spring tension while sitting on the stool. The adjustment knob locks every 90 degrees of rotation to prevent loosening during performance. The adjustment part also swings to achieve a more natural spring expansion and contraction.

●Footboard/beater angle adjustment
The footboard and beater angle adjustment parts are designed to be independent, allowing them to be set at any angle. In addition, the memory line allows you to check the angle, so you can easily reproduce your favorite settings at any time.

●High-precision low-position heel structure
Adopts a design that lowers the heel position. The hinge part is equipped with a cover (blue part) processed with high precision to improve the stability of the footboard. Smooth pedal work is possible.

● Ball bearing for drive connection
A ball bearing is installed at the part that connects to the drive at the tip of the footboard. Even smoother playability is realized.

● Heel spike
Spikes are installed on the heel part of the footboard,
Preventing the foot pedal from slipping during performance and improving stability and operability.

● Original beater / dedicated weight
A dedicated weight can be attached to the bottom of the beater for the original FP9 beater. By attaching the dedicated weights of aluminum (3g) and brass (9g) included, you can expand the range of sound making and performance.

● Carrying case
All FP9 models come with one dedicated compact semi-hard case.

素晴らしい名器

FP720Sからの乗り換え。
今風の風貌にみえるが、FP720S系統を受け継いでいる。
具体的には以下。

・板部分が広いので安定感がある。
・ビータの角度調整が細かくできる。
・キラキラ感が少しあるのでかっこいい。（FP720Sにはなかった要素）
・ダブルチェーンで安定感あり。
・踏み心地は軽いの一言。
・力が明確にビーターに伝わる。

以上買って損はしない。

バイク、自転車好きにはたまらなく美しい！

初期型DWシングルチェーンを30年以上使用してノイズが大きくな
ってきたので買い替え。
機械的な美しさが気に入ってます。フットボードも大きく癖がないのですぐ慣れました。3段階にカム形状が変えられるのが嬉しい。偏心(小)にしました。オープン奏法でのダイナミクスがつけやすくフェザリングがやりやすい。サンバキックはヒール部分が低いので1打目の踏み込む感覚が少し違います。スプリングがスイングして足元がキラキラしてるとプレイするのが楽しくなります。ビーターウェイトと立派なケースもついて感謝しております。ありがとうございました！
ペダルを変える時は悩みますが買って良かった。
