The bass was well packaged for shipping. The neck was flat and straight when it arrived, so no need to adjust the truss rod. The action is amazingly good and the neck is easy and comfortable to play. No adjustments there, either. The electronics are simple yet effective. I also like the stock strings. Smoother than most phosphor bronze I have used and much less finger noise than I have experienced in the past. I use it unplugged for outdoor acoustic gigs and practice at home. The volume and tone are more than I had expected! I plug it in for acoustic club shows and it sounds fantastic! The CB-60 is absolutely incredible for the price and I highly recommend it for beginners and seasoned pros alike! Well done, Fender!!!
