It does the job. It’s not a custom fit, so I just pad the sides of the bass with a rolled up towel. While I appreciate the six locks, they don’t line up evenly and require a bit of manipulation to close the case properly. Also, the top and bottom don’t line up, either, again requiring some manipulation for a proper seal, hence the 4 star review. It’s overpriced, imho, but there are few alternatives out there for a hard case for an acoustic/electric bass, and it’s better than a gig bag, so it will do.

Super light and super loud! The sound quality from the 12” speaker is incredible! All controls set at 12:00, including the gain and master volume, with the vintage switch engaged and this amp is a very smooth sounding beast! I use it for small outdoor events and medium indoor venues, neither one with PA support, and it holds up against vocals, guitar and drums with no worries. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Fender has done it again!!!

Easy, inexpensive alternative to the usual type of strap lock. No drilling or tools required. They do the job and they do it well!

I was somewhat disappointed with the packaging, but the instrument arrived undamaged. The truss rod was completely loose, so I tightened it up without a problem. I also adjusted the action as well as the pickup height. The sound is amazing for oldies/rockabilly and classic 60s/70s rock. The neck is very playable and the short scale makes it easier to play overall. There is considerable neck dive, but it isn’t really a big issue for me. All things considered, it’s an excellent instrument for the price and I am very, very pleased with my purchase. Side note: I purchased the matching hard case from a retailer in the U.S. I also recommend doing the same should you buy this bass.

The bass was well packaged for shipping. The neck was flat and straight when it arrived, so no need to adjust the truss rod. The action is amazingly good and the neck is easy and comfortable to play. No adjustments there, either. The electronics are simple yet effective. I also like the stock strings. Smoother than most phosphor bronze I have used and much less finger noise than I have experienced in the past. I use it unplugged for outdoor acoustic gigs and practice at home. The volume and tone are more than I had expected! I plug it in for acoustic club shows and it sounds fantastic! The CB-60 is absolutely incredible for the price and I highly recommend it for beginners and seasoned pros alike! Well done, Fender!!!
