Xperia Ear Duoの特徴はなんと言ってもデュアル・リスニング機能でしょう。マイクによる外音の取り込み（アンビエントサウンド）ではなく、生の外音が音楽と調和します。音質も優れているものの、やはり高音質を求めるというより生活を便利にするデバイスとしての側面が強いです。スマートフォンを操作する手段として、音声認識、首を動かすジェスチャーの完成度が高く、疲れにくい装着性も含めてずっと付けていたくなるヘッドセットです。
