■ HDMI compatible (ARC)

Instead of the single-ended method (Lch/GND: Rch/GND) that has been conventionally used for headphone output, the balanced drive method (L+/L-: R+/R-) is adopted to improve the separation between (left and right) channels. This further improves the surround effect.

■Large-capacity electrolytic capacitors are used in the DC power supply section
- In pursuit of stable power supply to the processor section, large-capacity electrolytic capacitors of 1000μF x 2 are used in the power supply section. This allows it to easily handle sudden current fluctuations caused by DSP processing.

■Vacuum crystal oscillator is used
- A vacuum-sealed crystal oscillator is used for the master clock of the digital audio on the processor side, improving oscillation efficiency and reducing phase noise. By suppressing jitter in the master clock of digital audio, sound field transparency and a clear sense of focus are obtained. In addition, by forming an electrode by evaporating gold on the internal crystal plate, high contact is maintained even in the presence of mechanical vibration, and oxides that affect conductivity are not formed, reproducing deeper bass and richer sound.

■Ingenious ideas for stabilizing the power supply

The power supply circuit for the digital interface section, which is susceptible to jitter caused by high-speed DSP and noise, does not directly supply power from a DC-DC converter using an oscillator circuit, but instead uses a constant voltage regulator. This reduces the impedance of the power supply, which greatly contributes to improving the S/N ratio of digital audio signals and the reproduction capabilities of low frequencies.
