TASCAM / 202MKVII

The TASCAM 202MKVII is a professional double cassette deck, succeeding the 202MKVII. It features two cassette mechanisms for recording and playback, allowing you to switch between two cassettes while playing. It also comes equipped with a number of convenient features, including a noise reduction function that reduces hiss during playback and a simultaneous recording function that eliminates the need for cassette duplication.

1. Record a mix of the RCA pin jack input and the front-panel microphone input.

- SPECIAL playback mode allows you to cue the next song by monitoring the audio from one tape through headphones while the other is playing.
- Timer playback/recording function allows playback and recording to begin at power-on in conjunction with a commercially available timer.
- RETURN TO ZERO function resets the tape counter to 0000.
- Repeat playback function (plays between A and B 20 times and then stops).
- +/- 12% pitch control (playback only), convenient for karaoke.
