The S5H is a powerful main monitor custom-designed to meet the demanding requirements of the world's largest studios and control rooms.

The horizontally positioned 3-way monitor S5H features two 10-inch ELE low-frequency drivers (Extended Linear Excursion) newly designed by ADAM Audio for the S series. Like other S series monitors, the woofer unit with ADAM Audio's proprietary SMA (Symmetrical Magnet Assembly) enables tight, distortion-free bass reproduction. The musically important midrange is handled by ADAM Audio's new DCH midrange (Dome Cone Hybrid). This innovative 4-inch midrange driver was newly developed by ADAM Audio specifically for the S series, combining the acoustic advantages of both cone and dome drivers in a single unit. These drivers, combined with the S-ART tweeter (ADAM Audio's latest creation in their highly acclaimed foldable ribbon tweeter), manufactured under even stricter tolerance standards than before, deliver a powerful yet fatigue-free sound, providing high-resolution, natural sound reproduction with three-dimensional depth.

The tweeter and midrange drivers utilize machined aluminum HPS/MPS waveguides (High-frequency/Mid-range Propagation System), resulting in extremely accurate off-axis mid-high frequency response. This achieves stable radiation characteristics over a wide range, allowing multiple team members to work simultaneously on the same speaker's sweet spot, even in projects involving multiple members.

The custom-designed DSP in the S Series not only provides linear and flat response characteristics across a wide frequency range through optimal crossover settings, but also offers user-configurable EQ and voicing/tuning functions that adapt to room acoustics. This DSP features a high-frequency limiter for excessive input, AES3 digital input, and future expansion options. Software updates are possible via the built-in USB port, and the DSP functions can be controlled from a computer by connecting the speakers to a computer.

Each driver unit of the S5H is driven by four amplifiers: two 700W Class D amplifiers for the low-frequency driver, one 350W Class D amplifier for the midrange, and one 250W Class D amplifier for the S-ART tweeter.

With its innovative features, advanced design, ample headroom, and vast dynamic range, the S5H is ADAM Audio's flagship reference monitor, a world-class monitor speaker enabling highly faithful audio reproduction.
