いわゆる広く綺麗な開放型らしい鳴りっぷりが特徴で、美しく伸びやかで上質な音を、広い音場感を持って表現してくれます。空間表現に優れた音質が、惚れ惚れする程素晴らしいヘッドホンです。クラシックが持つ壮大な世界観を存分に堪能できるのはさすがゼンハイザー。オープンエアーのパイオニアである「誇り」をそのまま音に反映させ、エントリーモデルという位置付けを感じさせない素晴らしい音質を実現しています。

非常に軽い装着感も魅力の一つで、側圧・耳当たり共にまさしくゼンハイザークオリティーここにありと言えます。長時間のリスニングでも痛くなったりしないのはさすがですね。

ケーブル長は3mで、プラグは6.3mmステレオ標準のみとなり、3.5mmステレオミニへの変換プラグは付属しませんので、ポータブルプレーヤーで再生する場合はその点のみ注意が必要です。逆を返せば、ヘッドホンアンプ、AVアンプ等につないで、家で優雅にリスニングをする事をターゲットとしたモデルですので、そういう意味では、無駄なコストを極限まで省いたコストパフォーマンスに優れたモデルと言えます。
