This overdrive pedal is an evolution of the Dirty Little Secret. The internal DIP switch allows you to switch between Super Lead and Super Bass modes. It features three EQs (Treble, Middle, Bass) and Master and Pre-Amp knobs. Its wide gain range allows for rich, expressive dynamics. It's the perfect effect to add accents to your sound.

At Catalinbred, we know nothing about tone. We're constantly learning, listening, improving our circuit skills, and incorporating previously unattainable manufacturing processes to produce ever-more refined products. We've constantly evolved.
And despite misfortunes like discontinued parts, we've continued to adapt and evolve. Development of this pedal began when the parts used in the previous DLS pedal became unavailable.
After developing numerous prototype pedals, we finally succeeded in creating a DLS that's easier to use and offers more dynamics than our flagship product, the Dirty Little Secret.
There's something different about this new DLS.
This new DLS features an internal DIP switch that allows you to change the voicing,
offering Super Lead and Super Bass modes.
The knobs include a master volume, preamp gain, and three tone controls, plus an internal presence trimmer. This further expands the gain range, providing optimal dynamics for any pickup or amplifier.
Super Lead mode delivers the same incredibly responsive and sensitive tone that was available on the previous MKII, but the midrange control adds even more tonal variety. The gain range ranges from current tones dating back to the Plexi era. Even with humbuckers, you can control the volume knob to create anything from clean tones to heavily distorted tones.
Super Bass mode also features a new voicing that gives you a tone reminiscent of a 45 or 50/100. This mode delivers the truly pleasant tone—neither too clean nor too dirty—that was often produced by very old tube amps.
This mode also pairs exceptionally well with fuzz pedals.
Use the Super Bass mode with a Strat, Fuzz Face, or even a Strat—you'll truly understand the purpose of this mode.
The SB/SL switch doesn't simply add or subtract bass.
This pedal has unique settings for parameters such as tone and attack to create the perfect SB and SL.
This is immediately apparent when you compare them.
When switching from SL to SB, the SB tone circuit slightly reduces the bass response and creates a slightly scoopier tone.
We're really excited to release this pedal.
Because it offers more features, better tone, and beats the traditional DLS in every way, all at the same price.
We guarantee it's the best Marshall-style box at any price point.
All that said, what I'm trying to say is that we're excited.
It runs on a 9V DC center-negative adapter (we recommend the One Control EPA-2000) or a 9V battery.
