AMPLITUDE Mode: This pedal produces a traditional, mellow tremolo sound, created by bias-modulating the power tubes of original Supro amps.
HARMONIC Mode: This pedal produces the psychedelic effect of the brownface/bronze amps created by Leo Fender in the early '60s. By incorporating Leo Fender's unique ""harmonic tremolo"" effect into the pedal's output stage, you can experience modulation that feels just like it was created in an amplifier.

The Supro Tremolo pedal features preamp and power amp sections, and an output transformer that recreates the magnetic saturation and coloration of the original tube effects of these legendary amps. In addition to the standard modulation controls for SPEED and DEPTH, the Supro Tremolo also features a gain circuit that overdrives the output stage, where the modulation effect is created. The GAIN control adjusts the amount of ""preamp"" gain in the pedal. As the gain is increased, the ""power amp"" circuitry gradually overdrives. This, combined with the magnetic saturation that occurs as the power section overdrives, allows for a wide range of sounds, from clean to distorted. Further increases in gain automatically compensate for the Supro's overall output level to maintain a consistent signal level. The GAIN control also allows you to vary the intensity of the modulation effect without significantly increasing the output level.
The SPEED and DEPTH controls set the rate and depth of the effect's modulation. A TRS expression pedal controls the Supro Tremolo's speed. When using an expression pedal, set SPEED to maximum using the onboard SPEED knob. The modulation effect is indicated by a flashing LED. All Supro pedals are assembled in Port Jefferson, USA. Features include dedicated adjustment tools, anodized finish, brushed aluminum body, 9V battery or AC power supply, metal terminals on the rear panel, an easily accessible battery compartment on the side panel, and noise-free bypass switching for studio use. ■Controls
