CTS boasts high quality and reliability in its control potentiometers. Introducing the new DPDT (double-pole, double-throw, 2-circuit, 2-contact) switch pot. The contacts are located on the side, not the back, and can be installed without modification, as long as the pot is approximately 1 inch (=25.4mm) deep. This DPDT switch allows for a wide variety of wiring options, including humbucker coil tapping and pickup switching. The control pot and switch circuits are separate. The Audio Taper offers smooth and accurate response, allowing you to smoothly change from 0 to 10 without sudden changes when turning the knob, delivering performance unmatched by cheaper potentiometers. Split shafts are compatible with 24-thread inch knobs, while solid shafts are compatible with knobs with side setscrews. The long shaft is designed for Les Paul® and other solid-body guitars with carved tops. Includes flat washer, lock washer, and height adjustment nut.

無駄に高いスイッチ買いましたが、動きはとても良いです

Fender MexicoのDuo Sonic HSの電気回路全改造用に購入しました。リジッドシャフトでインチだと安いのが無くて、こんな高級品を求めていたわけでも無いですが、CTSの自信作のようなので買ってみました。配線部が他のスイッチと違って配線穴が設けられているタイプです。樹脂部分が多いですが、耐熱樹脂で作られているようなので、ハンダづけて曲がったり、色が変わったりは無く、その辺は流石に作りが良さげな気がします。とはいえ高いので、壊すのが嫌で、ハンダ時間が短くなるよう気は使いましたが。ポットは軽くてCTSのビンテージタイプに近い感じです。プッシュプルがとてもスムーズで高いですが高級感ある動きはします。演奏中にでも切り替えようかという気になる感じです。ネジは長いですが、親切にナットが二つついてくるので、ピックガードに取り付ける場合にも調整して、もう一つのポットと高さ合わせられました。機能は抜群ですが、普通1200円程度だから、4000円は高いですよねえ。安ギターに突っ込むには過剰スペックだったかと思いますが、リジッドコレしか無いようなあ・・・スプリットにネジ締めノブ使うと回転が楕円になって嫌だったので。
