If the input level remains below a certain level for approximately 15 minutes, the unit automatically switches to standby mode. The power indicator changes from blue to red, and power consumption is reduced to approximately 0.5W. When an input signal is received again in standby mode, the unit automatically turns on and you can enjoy music again. ■The auto standby function can be turned on/off using the switch on the back.

This prevents unintended standby mode when the output level on the playback device is turned down too low when playing at low volume.
