結局、元に戻った。

ベースを初めて、３０年。フラットワウンド派になって、２０年。
いろんな弦を試して、４弦なら、
わかりやすく、アーニーボールの、ニッケルの、フラットワウンドが、音色も、音の重心の低さも、１弦から４弦までの繋がりの良さも、指馴染みの良さも、１番しっくりくる。
５弦が困った。
ローBが、きちんと鳴らないベース本体も多い中、５弦だけ、音色の違う５弦セットも多く、ステンレス弦の中を迷い歩いた挙句、
結局、アーニーボールの、フラットワウンド、ニッケルの５弦セットが一番良かった。
良さは、４弦と同じ。
弦のどこに、バランスを置くか、好みはどこか、
結局、私の理想は、４弦と同じ方向でした。
