JOHN PEARSE, known for their popular acoustic guitar strings known for their mellow, lustrous sound, has released a number of electric guitar strings. The 2410 Super EZ Bend Splits Nickel Wound strings retain the smooth, lustrous tone of acoustic guitar strings while offering a smooth playing feel that's easy to bend. These strings feature the classic nickel wound construction for electric guitars, and the 09-46 string gauge is slightly thicker than the standard Super Light gauge bass strings.

良いと思う

アコギの弦が素晴らしいので、エレキも試してみました。
このメーカー、クセがなくてそのギターの音を出してくれる、そんな音ですが、エレキ弦もそういう感じ。良い弦だと思います。テンションも普通でキツすぎることもない。
今までずっとアーニーボールだったので、値段を考えるとアーニーボールに戻るかなー。

優しさの塊

音、感触共に非常に柔らかで優しさを感じました。
中音域はリッチに響きますが、中高音域以降が輪郭は感じつつもメロウでフラットワウンドのような鳴り方をしています。
しかしフラットワウンドと比べて張りの強い感覚は一切無く、低音域は軽やかで、つかみ所の無い他に類を見ないサウンドです。
スウィング系のジャズ等のプレイがハマりそうです。
好き嫌いがハッキリ出そうなニッチな弦ですが、どこか作りの良さすら感じる唯一無二の弦です。
