A crossover setting with three types of filters is possible on a large liquid crystal display with excellent visibility. This is a next-generation model that inherits the functions of the well-established XLS series. Improvements including the appearance have been added, and the processing power and operability of the DSP have been improved. All models have a lightweight design of 5kg or less to reduce the burden of transportation and installation.

■ DriveCore realizes weight reduction without compromising sound quality
Equipped with "DriveCore", a custom IC that integrates functions such as high-precision clock, modulation, error amplification, and feedback on a single chip, which is the heart of the amplifier circuit. Parts are reduced to the maximum without compromising power and sound quality.
The power supply employs a lightweight and highly efficient switching power supply.
All models are light at 5kg or less and have excellent portability.
■ Output power beyond class
Class-D operation efficiently drives high-load subwoofers.
The Peakx limiter is installed to maximize the output performance while protecting the speakers.
■ Filter setting is possible by powerful DSP
PureBand crossover system with 24dB / oct Linkwitz-Riley filter. Any crossover point can be set every 1/12 oct within the range of 30Hz to 3kHz.
The type of filter can be selected from no filter, low pass, high pass and band pass.
■ Flexible input / output
Equipped with three types of input terminals: XLR, standard phone, and RCA. Input sensitivity can be selected from 1.4V and 0.775V.
The output terminal has a speaker and a binding post.
■ Equipped with necessary functions in good balance
Equipped with a liquid crystal display with backlight on the front panel. ON / OFF is possible by setting including LED of indicator. A lock function that prohibits operation of the front panel is also available.
A status signal is output from the rear panel to confirm normal operation from a remote location.
You can set the sleep mode to reduce power consumption with external contacts.
Equipped with an air cooling fan to efficiently cool the inside of the main unit.
■ Liquid crystal display with increased size
The size is larger than the conventional model. The menu structure has also been reviewed and operability has been greatly improved.
■ AUX terminal
The left pin can be used for sleep mode to reduce power consumption with external contacts.
The right pin outputs a status signal from a remote location to confirm normal operation.

AMCRON XLSシリーズは、5kg未満と超軽量、そして高いコストパフォーマンスながらDSPを搭載した人気のデジタル・パワーアンプです。内蔵されているクロスオーバーは、フィルターなし、ローパス、ハイパス、バンドパスの4種類から選択することができるので、フルレンジ、サブウーハーなどスピーカーの特性に合った設定をすることができ、2ウェイ・システムを組む際にとても便利です。また業務用パワーアンプだと、入力はXLRとフォン、出力はスピコンだけという仕様が多いですが、XLSシリーズは、RCA入力、バインディングポスト出力も用意されているので、接続する際にコネクターを気にせず使うことができるというのも嬉しいポイントです。低域から高域まで全体的なバランスが良く、クリアでクセのないサウンドキャラクターは、トークイベント、運動会、学園祭、ライブといろいろな場所で活躍すること間違いなしの一台です。

発熱少ない夏用、家庭用オーディオとして導入

ファンの音はしません。深夜でボリューム絞っても分からない。
無音でパワーアンプの前にいても分からないレベルで家庭用としては合格。
発熱もしません。

試聴機は
CDP　アキュフェーズ　DP70V　
プリ　LUXMAN　C06
パワーLUXMAN　M07
SP　ハーベス　HL5
です。
M07は純A級アンプのため発熱が半端なく、酷暑の夏用にパワーアンプXLS1002を導入しました。
エージングに3日間くらいかかりました。

音質を一言で表現すると「これ、めっちゃええ」です。

自宅のステレオセットのパワーアンプ（マランツ170）が爆発したため交換用に　プリアンプなし　キーボード用ミキサーから直で　JBL 4312Aに繋いでます　充分過ぎる　勿体なかった　どっかでPAやりてぇ！

用途はホームオーディオ

加齢による体力低下から、D社製アナログアンプ重さ25kgの巨体に恐怖を感じ始める（苦笑）。そこでリプレイスすべくD級パワー・アンプをリサーチ。このサイトにて本機XLS1002を発見。重さわずか4kgなのに出力4倍、クロスオーバー・BTLまでついて値段も軽量。話が上手過ぎ？？？、Crownブランドを信じて、即決購入。
音質は、ボーカルの艶やかさはアナログが優っているが、音の活況感・開放感、音量バランスはXLSに軍配か。これは個人の好み・主観です。バインディングポストとかスイッチの作りは値段相応ですが、機能的には問題無く動作してます。無音時のホワイトノイズ・ファン音も皆無、触ってもぬる燗程度。今のところ大満足です。
なおYouTube動画に紹介されていますが、バナナプラグ使用時はポストネジに埋め込まれたキャップを木ネジ付きドライバー等で引き抜く必要があります。（取説には記載無い様です）
