This is a CTS guitar/bass volume and tone control pot. Its 25KΩ resistance is ideal for use as a post-preamp control pot when wiring with active pickups or active circuits. The resistance curve is an A-curve, which produces a gradual change in tone. It's an inch-sized pot, commonly used in USA-made pots, and features a split shaft with a jagged tip. This is a custom version that reduces sound leakage when the volume is set to 0.
