This high-grade balanced headphone cable is compatible with the SONY MDR-1A and allows you to enjoy high-resolution audio sources with even better sound quality.

■ The internal cable uses a twisted pair structure, which cancels out the magnetic flux generated by current flow by twisting the conductors in the outbound and inbound paths, reducing transmission loss. At the same time, it also reduces the impact of current noise generated by external magnetic flux penetrating the cable, achieving high-resolution, high-quality sound with a sense of scale.
■ Multi-gauge conductors are used, twisting multiple types of wires of different thicknesses together in optimal ratios. This minimizes transmission loss and controls it for each frequency band, achieving highly transparent sound quality from low to high frequencies.
■ Silver-coated OFC wire is used, a double-structure conductor with a pure silver coating on the surface of OFC (oxygen-free copper). By reducing signal transmission loss, sound quality degradation is minimized and smooth high-frequency reproduction is achieved.
■ A four-core structure with separated ground improves separation between the R and L channels, achieving a wide soundscape and tight bass.

MDR-M1STに使用してみました

純正ケーブルとMUC-S12SM1を使ってみたんですが、面白い！
純正ケーブルは高音が特徴的で悪く言えばキンキンしたきつい音です
それに比べてMUC-S12SM1は丸くおとなしい印象でした
聴いていて疲れない、ある程度フィルタリングされているかのような感じです
ただ、音楽を分析する目的であれば純正ケーブルのほうが向いています
私が聴いた限り高音がきついはきついのですが、この傾向が細かい音の認識に一役買っているのではないかと
サックスの管内を息が通り抜ける音もシンバルの余韻も純正ケーブルのほうが聴き取りやすかったです
ただ、ケーブル長が長いので普段はMUC-S12SM1を使って、真剣に聴くときに純正ケーブルを使うような感じになると思います
