The CBR series boasts compactness, light weight, and clear sound with minimal distortion. These 2-way, 15-inch passive speakers boast a 500W input power rating and a maximum SPL of 126dB. The lightweight, durable, thick plastic enclosure allows them to be used as floor monitors, and they're also recommended for installation in sound systems when combined with optional brackets (sold separately).

The CBR series is a new portable SR speaker developed by Yamaha, bringing together the acoustic and mechanical design technologies cultivated over many years of speaker design. To maximize speaker performance, attention was paid to every detail of the speaker unit and other acoustic components, condensing them into a newly designed enclosure that is compact, lightweight, and highly portable.
The CBR series also features a highly versatile cabinet design, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, from main PA for live shows and other events to floor monitors and side fills, and even for installation in facilities using optional speaker brackets and eyebolts.
