The micro express is a professional-grade device that includes all the functionality of the acclaimed MOTU MIDI interface, plus MIDI functions such as a MIDI patch bay and merger, as well as a high-precision time code synchronizer.

- Merges signals from specific MIDI input ports to output signals from any MIDI input port
- Route any MIDI input port to a specific output
- Mute MIDI information for specific MIDI ports
- Channel conversion synchronization for MIDI input and output
- SMPTE Time Code (LTC) generator and reader
- Converts LTC to MTC (MIDI Time Code) for SMPTE synchronization with Mac, Windows, and other devices
- Converts all SMPTE frame rates (23.976, 24, 25, 29.97 drop, 29.97 non-drop, 30)
- Stripes all SMPTE frame rates (23.976, 24, 25, 29.97 drop, 29.97 non-drop, 30)
- Converts MTC (MIDI Time Code) to SMPTE Time Code
- Free-running, configurable, dropout-less sync with SMPTE ""Jam Sync"" function
- MMC (MIDI Machine Control) Control: MMC master, slave, or distribution of MMC transport commands to all connected MMC-compatible devices.
