■This light-gain overdrive features a natural, organic sound, constructed using an all-discrete circuit with FETs and bipolar transistors. It features a pleasantly raised midrange and a response that faithfully reproduces subtle picking nuances. Asymmetric clipping indicated by red and green LEDs delivers deep, warm distortion. It features four controls: ""Drive,"" ""Volume,"" ""Treble,"" and ""Bass."" Increasing ""Drive"" emphasizes the perceived richness of the lows, achieving a tube-amp-like feel. It can be powered by batteries or a 9V-18V AC adapter. This is a unit we highly recommend for players who value delicate playing in rock, blues, jazz, and other genres.
