Depending on where you feel these indentations on your lips, you can determine the chord tone (major/seventh/diminished/minor/augmented). For example, when playing a major chord, the indentations felt by your lips are always in the same position, allowing you to change chords without having to visually check the hole positions. The mouthpiece is also silver-plated, ensuring a comfortable feel in the mouth and smooth playing.
