-From the manufacturer site-
■ Since the world's first rack mount tuner DT-1pro in 1987, Korg has been producing DTR-1/DTR-2 in 1994, DTR-1000/DTR-2000 in 2002 and famous machines representing the times. Since 2013, the latest rack mount model has finally arrived.
■ Equipped with a newly developed tuning meter that produces epoch-making visual effects. In addition to a bright LED that shines incredibly intensely, the special design of processing acrylic makes it possible to capture all the light from the surface of the light source to the depth in three dimensions. As a result, pitch deviations and changes can be perceived at a glance from any distance or angle, and pitchblack Pro brings a new dimension of tuning experience to guitarists/basists.
■Pitch black Pro achieves an amazing weight reduction of 363g. In addition, the depth has been dramatically reduced from 113 mm to 49 mm, and it is now possible to install it on an effect board. In addition, the left and right rack mount adapters can be attached and removed with one touch, and can also be attached to the bottom of the main unit as a stand. It can be used in any situation other than the rack, such as placing it directly or using it on the floor monitor.
■ You can choose from 3 types of meter display method to suit your taste.
1. Regular meter
As with a needle meter tuner, tune your instrument so that the LED in the center of the meter is lit. The LED lights move to the right of the center when the pitch is high, and to the left when the pitch is low. The brightness increases from the left and right to the center, and you can easily see the tuning status.
2. Strobe meter
Tune the instrument so that the meter LED lights stop flowing. The LEDs will light from left to right when the pitch is high and from right to left when the pitch is low.
3. Half strobe meter
Tune the instrument so that the meter flow stops and only the center LED lights up. When the pitch is high, the strobe is displayed to the right of the center of the meter, and when the pitch is low: • The strobe is displayed to the left of the center of the meter. When the pitch is correct, only the center LED will light.
■ It is equipped with Buffer Out that reduces the effect of noise and noise on the input sound. Also equipped with a mute function that allows tuning without outputting sound from the OUTPUT terminal. It also has a MUTE terminal that can be switched on and off with a foot switch, which is convenient for tuning between live songs.
