フルレンジスピーカーのみのシステムに迫力を加えたい方にはサブウーハーの増設がお薦めです。「VQ1800D」ならミキサーのメイン出力といつものメインスピーカーの間に接続するだけと接続も簡単で、別途チャンネルディバイダーを用意しなくともステレオ2ウェイシステムを組むことができます。フルレンジから出す信号は、INPUTの信号そのままか、100Hz以下をカットかのどちらかで選べる点も柔軟性が高く良いです。15インチの2ウェイスピーカーが出す低音と18インチのサブウーハーが出す低音は全く別物です。低音を増強する大きなバスレフポートのある木製の頑丈なエンクロージャーからは、まさに「地を這うようなロー」が出てきます。ちなみに「VQ1800D」のINPUTは2つあるので、2本のメインスピーカーに対してサブウーハー1本という2.1チャンネル・システムも可能です。サブウーハーと言うと、ある程度、大きな出力の出せるパワーアンプを用意しないといけませんが、パワードなら一体型だし、組み合わせも考える必要がないため、コストを抑えつつ、気軽に導入することができる点もオススメポイントです。

今日届きました。ミキサー出力からVQ1800DインプットA,BそしてスルーA,Bからグライコを経てパワーアンプCP400に入れてCSP15を接続しました。今まで足りなかった重低音がいとも簡単に出ました。レベルつまみは最低限から角度にして２度から３度上げるだけでした。ステレオ入力できてステレオスルー出力できるのが購入決定動機でした。お薦めす。重低音は指向性が無いので1台で十分です。
